Nvidia builds a new data center for its own use in Israel

On January 17, according to Israeli media Globes, Nvidia is building a large data center in the country for its own AI development. After completion in the first half of 2025, the facility will become one of the largest data centers in Israel.

It is reported that Nvidia's new data center will be equipped with a large number of the latest Grace Blackwell superchips, Blackwell AI GPUs and a series of network equipment, and will integrate the GPU-accelerated quantum computing system DGX Quantum. The power capacity after completion will reach 30MW.

The construction of the data center will take less than 1 year, and industry insiders estimate that the overall investment scale of the project will exceed US$500 million (IT Home Note: Currently about RMB 3.67 billion).

Amit Krig, head of Nvidia's Israel site, said:

Our employees are our most important resource, and we are committed to continuing to invest in them.

The new R&D and engineering base will enable Nvidia's thousands of existing employees in Israel and many of those who join later to continue to develop technologies that drive AI, which is the most important technological force of our time.
